SUPPLY LIST
CUSTOM TOTE BAG WITH TROLLEY SLEEVE
FABRIC NEEDED
· 56” wide or wider – 2/3 yard
· 44” wide – 1-1/4 yard
· Complimentary fabric needed for pocket(s) – 4 - 10” squares
STRAP FABRIC
· 116”-120” This will be cut in half.
ZIPPER(S)
· 18” – 28” long heavy duty zipper. If you want a zipper in the front or back pocket, you will need a 9” zipper. A regular zipper is fine.
PAPER
· 8 ½ x 11 sheets – at least four
· Scotch tape
OTHER NOTIONS NEEDED
· Matching thread
· Topstitching thread (optional)
· Machine needles to match your fabric (If you’re using a thick fabric, please bring more than one)
· Your sewing machine
· Zipper foot along with a regular foot
· Paper and pencil to make notes
· Marking pen
· Pins or clips
This custom tote bag fits over handles of a suitcase. With one simple pattern, you can make the custom tote bag in various sizes. They can be small and used to carry sewing supplies or anything else that needs to be transported. Also you can make baskets in various sizes. The custom tote bag fits over the handles of a suitcase.
There will be a prequisite Zoom class on March 1st, then a hands on class on March 22.
